  • COFFEE MORNINGS

    We hold a Coffee Morning every 2nd – 4th Saturday of the month between 10.30a.m.- 12.30p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy homemade cakes and pastries – we also offer free Wi-Fi. This is a very popular event for everyone to enjoy good company and indulge in some delicious homemade cakes donated by our village hall committee and parishioners.

  • PLAYS

    Several touring companies have delighted the villagers and invited guests with plays which have been enjoyed by all age groups. (See What’s On for the next performance).

  • LIVE BANDS

    Live music has played to good audiences – a Ceilidh band and a quartet band have performed for us in the past – ( See What’s On for future dates).

  • SOCIALS

    The hall holds many events throughout the year offering a variety of social events to suit all age groups. (See What’s On ).

  • SOCIAL GROUPS

    The hall is still fundraising with social activities for the ongoing maintenance of the hall. We also welcome Charity events which helps raise money for local projects.

  • BUSINESS MEETINGS

    The hall is an ideal venue for business meetings.

  • CELEBRATION PARTIES

    The hall is a perfect place to hold your family celebration.  These have previously included Birthdays, Christening parties, Wakes, Wedding Receptions and Family Anniversaries.  It is a modern venue with all the facilities you will need to enjoy your event with family and friends.

  • BBQ

    This is an annual event – which is well attended, with good food and a wonderful atmosphere. The meat for the BBQ is provided/cooked by Local Butchers of Thirsk and the desserts are homemade by our very talented team in the village.

  • QUIZ NIGHTS

    Several popular quiz events per annum – for next date see What’s On.

  • CHRISTMAS LUNCH

    The annual Christmas Lunch is held in the Village Hall in early December to celebrate the start of the festive season and the end of another successful year for the hall. The lunch is organised by the committee who with a team of talented cooks serve traditional roast with all the trimmings, followed be delicious dessert and coffee. The committee sends their grateful thanks to everyone involved in the preparation of this event. The money raised goes to the ongoing maintenance of the hall.
